Walker’s Shoes and Cheese Store a lure too great for the BanditsThe Cheese Bandits, who had recently just escaped Canadian authorities capture by quite literally the skin of their feet made another courageous cheese heist today in Tennessee, USA.  Local authorities believe they have one of them in custody

The three Cheese thieves who last escaped from Canadian Mounties with spud guns, copious quantities of cheddar and no shoes had been on the run for a week.  The US FBI had teamed up with Canadian and British authorities in three nation task force led by DI Double-Gloucester.  Rumours had been reported that a number of small raids in Wisconsin, America’s cheese country had been the work of the Cheese Bandits.   The task force had been monitoring other reports from New England and Virginia as it seemed the trail was heading south as fast as a prostitute with bills to pay.  From the most recent reports two days ago after a cheese shop was raided in North Carolina, eye witness reports claimed three barefooted gentlemen had stolen a wheel of Danish Blue.

DI Double-Gloucester who since today’s incredible standoff has admitted he was working on a hunch set up undercover forces at a retailer’s establishment in Smithville, Tennessee.  DI Double-Gloucester confirmed that in the North Carolina heist, eye witness reports claimed the three men were complaining of sore feet, and one had asked if they knew of any cheap shoe store in town. The scared proprietors didn’t give any information regarding where the gentlemen could procure such items.  This led DI Double-Gloucester, the man hunting the Cheese Bandits for 14 years to one conclusion. The bandits, who were heading for Tennessee, would go straight to Smithville, to the famous Walker’s Shoes and Cheese Store. Double-Gloucester knew the lure would be too great for the Bandits, and had the entire area flooded with detectives.  In the ensuing skirmish this afternoon, one undercover officer suffered a cheese related injury.  Although yet to be confirmed by the authorities, local media claims, that although two of the Bandits escaped, with more cheese and the latest Reeboks, one of the bandits was caught, as he tripped on his untied shoelaces.  We will bring you more information as it breaks.
