Stuart Pearce's career as Manchester City manager is further in jeopardy. Rumours circulate that Spielberg's Dreamworks company might be on the verge of buying out controlling shares in the club. Tom Hanks already lined up to be new manager.
Things have not been going too well for the other team from Manchester these days. With Manchester United a top the premier league, Man City is battling to stay in the Premier League. Manchester City's manager Stuart Pearce has been under fire for poor performances by an underachieving squad. Now things have gotten even more difficult Pearce, the new U21 England coach. It's rumoured Steven Speilberg is thinking of buying the controlling shares in Manchester City and that Pearce is not part of his direction (no pun intended) Sources close to the director/producer/media mogul claim if the deal goes through Pearce will be fired. Our mole within Dreamworks claimed "Speilberg favourite Tom Hanks is already lined up to be the new manager."
Dreamworks also plan to create computer generated dinosaurs instead of spending 'pointless money' on the transfer market. Apparently there is a loophole in the FIFA regulations, a Dreamworks spokesperson stated "no where in the FIFA guidelines does it say computer generated dinosaurs can not be FIFA pro licensed players" Manchester City rebutted the rumours claiming "There is no intention of the current administration to change, the idea we'll sell out like Manchester United did is unfounded. The idea of dinosaurs playing for Manchester City is ridiculous." Inside sources close to the negotiations claim Pearce to be given leading role in new Indiana Jones movie and do the voice of a magic Frog in a new Dreamworks CGI animated movie as part of his compensation package. We also have learnt that along with Spielberg being appointed Chairman and Tom Hanks manager, George Lucas will be named Director of Football/Special Effects. As part of the deal Manchester City's Stadium of Light is proposed to be renamed Jurassic Park. The general reaction to the new developement of faithfull hard core Man City supporters was "Oh for Christ's sake! Unbelievable! F**king typical!" |
