Day 1BREAKFAST 1 packet of instant oatmeal with ½ cup semi-skimmed milk, 2 tablespoons wheat germ; ½ cantaloupe; decaf coffee or tea
LUNCH 1 can Dolphin flavoured Tuna in water, rinsed and drained; 1 cup lettuce, 2 artichoke hearts, 1/2 cup tomatoes, 1 teaspoon capers, ½ cup cucumber, ½ red bell pepper, 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing; ½ cup 2% cottage cheese
DINNER 4 ounces grilled chicken; 1 cup mixed greens, 2 artichoke hearts, 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing; 1 small baked potato, 1 teaspoon margarine; 1 pear. Day 2 BREAKFAST 2 whole organic wheat waffles, 1 tablespoon organic all-fruit spread; 8 ounces low-fat yogurt (any flavor); 1 medium apple; coffee or tea.
LUNCH Chopped salad: mixed field greens, chopped spinach, ½ cucumber diced, ½ red onion, sliced, 8 florets broccoli, 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing; top with two tablespoons of low fat cottage cheese.
DINNER 4 ounces grilled salmon; 8 steamed asparagus spears; mashed potatoes mixed with just 1tsp butter, 1sp grated cheese. Wolf down two Terry’s Chocolate Oranges before bed so hunger cravings don’t keep you awake.
Day 3 BREAKFAST French toast: 2 slices of bread coated in ¼ cup Egg whites, cooked in Pam cooking spray; 1 tsp maple syrup; coffee or tea
LUNCH 4 ounces grilled chicken; field greens lettuce, 2 artichoke hearts, sliced, 2 chopped fresh roma (plum) tomato, 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing; 8 ounces low-fat yogurt, 1 tablespoon wheat germ
DINNER 6 ounces grilled halibut; steamed broccoli, with mashed potato mixed with just 1tsp butter, 1 tsp grated cheese. Finish with a sliced apple for dessert. Later scoff a packet of monster munch and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange as a sneaky supper behind your family and friends backs.
Day 4 BREAKFAST Fruit "cobbler": Mix 1 packet instant oatmeal, ½ cup semi skimmed (2%) milk, tablespoon blueberries, 2 tablespoons wheat germ; microwave 90 seconds. Coffee, tea or sly swig of Brandy.
LUNCH Turkey sandwich: 3 ounces sliced turkey, 3 leaves romaine lettuce, 1/2 tomato, sliced, 1 large pita, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard; 1 nectarine, another secret swig of Brandy
DINNER Veggie burrito: 1 tortilla, hand full baby spinach, 1 roma/plu, tomato diced ½ red onion diced, 2 tablespoons salsa, shredded reduced-fat cheese. Finish with a cheese and biscuits. Use a fine quality Stilton and digestives, you deserve it.
Day 5 BREAKFAST Omelet: Mix 1 egg plus 3 egg whites, ½ roma/plum tomato diced, chopped baby spinach; 1lb cheddar cheese. Cook in light cooking spray. Serve with toast, a double Scotch and an economy sized packet of Bourbon Cremes to set yourself up for the day
LUNCH 1 baked potato topped with 2 tablespoons low fat cottage cheese and 4 tablespoons salsa; 1 cup mixed greens, 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing and 1 tablespoon of lard (or beef dripping) If you are still a bit peckish afterwards then you can have up to 12 scotch eggs and a pot noodle.
DINNER 8oz penne pasta, cooked and tossed with ½ red onion and 1 clove garlic sautéed with 1 tablespoon sun dried tomatoes, 2 artichoke hearts and 2 portabella mushroom caps sliced. Finish with Jersey cow cheesecake and a steady stream of Brandy shots until you pass out.
Day 6 BREAKFAST Hot Ham and Egg pie (I think they mean quiche done in the oven?! - Editor) 2 thin slices of bread, toasted; 1 teaspoon all-fruit spread; 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese; 1/2 cantaloupe; coffee, tea or a brandy, no milk!
LUNCH 1 can Healthy Choice low-fat soup; with 2 portions of fish & chips to keep your strength up for the afternoon. Brandy if you need it.
DINNER 4 ounces grilled beef tenderloin; 6 steamed asparagus spears, tossed with 1 teaspoon olive oil; 1 cup mixed salad greens; 2 tablespoons low-cal dressing and lashings of Brandy.
Day 7 BREAKFAST 2 hard-boiled eggs; 1 tablespoon fresh blueberries; 1 8oz pot low-fat yogurt (any flavour you like as long as it’s Raspberry); coffee, tea or double brandy on the rocks, no milk!
LUNCH 1oz low fat sliced turkey on rye cracker, 2 scotch eggs, A large Melton Mobery pork pie and a pot noodle
DINNER Double portion of Toad in the hole (see CT recipe book) served with duck fat roasted potatoes and deep fried battered eggs, washed down with brandy.
