Insomnia can be caused by chemicals (too much caffeine is the number one reason) or by emotional issues such as stress and anxiety. Or maybe you’re just one of nature’s Night Owls. Cheese can not cure chronic cases involving these issues, but for mild and temporary cases of insomnia it can do wonders. And don’t you worry about nightmares, that’s just a myth! Try eating a light snack before going to bed, but don't eat too much right before bedtime. A glass of warm milk and some light cheese and crackers should suffice. Most importantly stock up on lots of cheese products. Hopefully they will aid your settling down to quality sleep, but if they fail to do so at least you’ll have lots of tasty snacks to comfort you through the lonely night time hours.
