Mike is the youngest brother of our senior correspondent Brian McCheddar. The black sheep of the McCheddar clan, he has never held down any job until now. Whilst he blatantly denies that he got the job because of his brother, it does appear that there is no record of him attending an interview or in fact submitting an application to become one of our correspondents.

In fact, it appears that he just so happened to one day appear at our HQ, with an office and a travel expenses budget that is third only to his brother and Brian Cheshire's budgets.  He has been spotted countless times by diligent Cheese Times staff handing over envelopes full of used cash to his brother. It has also become clear that he is living in his office and has no other home. However he has used his fraudulent budget well, penning great reports including the CT classic Bush Administration set to release Potter spin off.
