Terry AndersonSports Writer & Special Features

Pint sized Terry was born in Swansea, Wales, but was raised in Cork, Rep of Ireland. He played professional football in the eighties for Cork City, Swansea City and West Ham United as a left wing genius. He also collected 42 caps for Wales. Despite his heavy Irish accent, his passion is for all things Welsh, and he is affectionately known as 'The Welsh Wizard'. He was forced to retire from the game early due to drugs, booze and vice problems, and has built up a solid, sleazy reputation ever since.

He currently works for The Cheese Times and Sportsview, a low budget cable Non League Football TV programme. He has been best friends with fellow Cheese Times and Sportsview pundit Bernard Bradshaw, since the two men famously brawled on the pitch of the old Wembley Stadium, at the kickoff, on cup final day 1990, whilst working as rival reporters. Terry inflicted Bernard’s renowned gammy leg that still troubles him to this day during cold weather. Bernard eventually felled Terry with his trademark ‘24inch punch’. He was unconscious for 16hours. Terry is a recovering cocaine and sex addict.

Interesting Trivia: He was exceptionally close to fellow West Ham legend Billy Bonds until their relationship was forever soured when the dream 12 bedroom house Bonds had sold to Anderson turned out to be riddled with concrete cancer. Terry suffered post traumatic stress disorder as his dream 'palace' crumbled around him. He remained living there until it finally collapsed completely. Despite Bonds' fervent denial that he had any idea that the house had concrete cancer, Anderson bears a very bitter grudge, and the two have fallen out even further, often publicly over the years in their feud. Most notably in 1994, when Terry tied Bonds to an old oak tree and threatened him with a cricket bat and Kung Fu nunchakus for 18 hours. He was jailed for 12 weeks.

Claim to Fame: Terry has 42 caps for Wales, including 6 as stand-in goalkeeper, he produced 19 international goals. He also released a cover version of Kevin Keegan's 'Head Over Heals' that reached no.37 in the Norwegian charts.

Greatest Professional Achievement: See claim to fame. He has also recently been signed up as the new poster boy for Spam products in Wales.
