ImageMere weeks after the first picture of UFCs appeared we have more. This latest amateur photo came from a reader in London who spotted the piece of cheese above the famous Battersea Power Station, apparently floating towards Earls Court. No one yet knows what the cheese is doing or where it comes from.

Another UFC was spotted in Birmingham, whilst keen eyed Jim McJimmy spotted some Pamesian in Hatch End. "You could tell it was Parmesian," said Mr McJimmy. "It crumbled as it went along. People thought it was snowing!" Further sightings have been reported in Cambridge, Bethnal Green, Kentford, Stratford and Saint Tropez, in France.

Attempts have been made to contact the cheese. Radio signals have been broadcasted with a welcome message to cheeses but no reply has yet been heard. The British Government has made no comment on the cheese and refuse to be drawn into speculation. "Flying cheese," said one minister "is a daft idea. It's probably just kids playing."

Kids or not, the cheese is becoming an increasing puzzle. Where are they from? Where are they going? What are they doing here?
