The 12 ft puffin It began with Giant Simians in Somerset, it continued with sights of sixty three foot dolphins in a Derby based Woolworth's store. And then reports yesterday of giant amphibians on the plains of the Savannah.

Today the biggest yet!!! Birds, or should I say one bird, a towering sight, an almost frightening sight... A Puffin the height of a house. The Puffin, estimated at 12ft is captured in the garden of a South Glamorgan home. Puffins, a very attractive coast claiming bird, are so as British as Tea on the lawn and cricket in the afternoons. But never Puffins on this scale.

The 12 ft puffin was captured by the authorities and air lifted to a disused air base in Cambridgeshire. It is expected that the creature shall be put down and experiments carried out to define if there is a similar genetic decoding error found in the captured Dolphins autopsy.

Is this man the real reason for these giant animals?Scotland Yard are now involved in the case, and genetic breeding on a scale never yet imagined is suspected by may be this man, former professor at the Institute of British Genetics. Recently sacked by the Institute for his genetically altered Zebra episode, could this be the man behind an incredible plan to take over the planet with giant creatures?

Known only as Professor X could he be the most dangerous man alive? Or is he just some barmy twat. Only time will tell.
